Our History …

BSA was incorporated in January 2004 to create a unique local consulting firm with the aim of providing the highest quality service to public and private sector clients, donor institutions as well as foreign investors. We are the most unique and suitable team to meet the needs and expectations of our clients.

We blend our experience gained from international best practices, our extensive range of available skills and industry expertise and the deep knowledge and understanding of the local environment to appropriately address and respond to issues and challenges facing our clients.

Our idea…

Is to combine an appropriate mix of skills driven largely by our quality educational and professional qualifications and the hands-on experience gained from the participation in diversified and challenging assignments over the years across different industries in a number of countries.

We do Corporate and business process reengineering, corporate finance, strategic planning and restructuring, cost and financial management, information technology, public sector consulting as well as due diligence reviews and privatisations in Ghana and other African countries.

David Addo-Yobo

David is a Chartered Accountant and a Management Consultant with over 15 year post-qualification experience spanning business/entrepreneurship development and training, management consulting, business advisory services and small business support and advice. He is a Founding Partner and the Executive Director of BS Africa Limited. He has an in depth experience in Small Business Finance, large public sector and private sector consulting experience in Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa.

Stephen M. Kainyah

Steve is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, U. K. (ACCA), a Management Consultant and Managing Consultant BS Africa Limited.

He holds a Masters Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Wales, Bangor, U.K, a BA (Hon) Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon, a Diploma in Professional Accounting from the Thames Valley University, Slough, U.K., a Certificate in Advanced Practical Accounting from the London Vocational and Management Training Company Limited, London, U.K., a Certificate in Public Finance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Institute, Washington D.C., USA and a Certificate in Development Finance and Budgeting from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Greenhill, Ghana.

Prof. John K. Aheto

John attended New York University, Stern Graduate School of Business Administration, New York, for his Ph.D. Programme, Double Major: Accounting and International Finance. He completed his Dissertation on “Economic Impact of Private Foreign Direct Investments in Manufacturing in Ghana”, (withdrawn due to poor health).
He also had Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) degree (a doctoral post-orals pre-dissertation completion degree in Accounting and International Finance) and was Awarded Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with major in Accounting in October 1973.
John’s MBA and Doctoral works was done at New York University, USA, in Accounting and International Finance.
Professionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Governmental Financial Manager (CGFM).

Samuel Ankama Obuor

Samuel, a double master holder in Education and Strategic Management has 17 years working experience as an Administrator and a Management Consultant. He has undertaken a number of consultancies in Higher Education Administration and delivered training for various and varied Micro, Medium and Small Scale Businesses and clients of the Ahafo Linkages Program. He has also developed business plans for companies and institutions in Ghana. He is a member of the International Professional Managers’ Association, UK, Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants-Ghana, and Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana. He is certified by CDC/FIT Ghana for the training of MSMEs under the Ahafo Linkages Program. He also serves as a Consultant for the Ghana-Netherlands Capacity Building program for Polytechnics in Ghana. He consults for TechnoServe Inc.
